Message from Coach Tootle
It is truly an honor to coach the young men that play football at Eldorado High School. As a coaching staff, it is our pleasure and #1 priority to aid our families in producing men of character, integrity and self discipline. We aim to ready and equip Qualifiers for the next stage of life. Prepared for college, campaign or career, our students will understand the value of tireless work ethic and uncompromising grit. Ask any Eldorado Football Player, and they will tell you that playing this game like Firehawks requires MENTAL TOUGHNESS & EXTREME DESIRE! Yes, our school has produced generations of successful Sundevils. We honor the legacy of those who came before us and set our sights on greatness. Now, as Firehawks, we aim to rekindle that flame. Come check us out this fall. We know in a city that overlooks us, a league that underestimates us, and an environment that expects us to fall, WE RISE IN THE EAST!

"The Cleat Game"
One of the oldest rivalries in Nevada High School sports is the annual football contest between Eldorado High School and fellow "Eastsiders", Chaparral High School. The winner each year earns a trophy created with a donated, bronzed cleat from NFL Hall of Famer and Rams great, Merlin Olsen. The Cleat currently resides with Chaparral as of 2024.
Our Home Field
We are proud to call Firehawk Field our home since 1973. Recently renovated track and turf surfaces along with ongoing improvements complement the unmatched views of Sunrise Mountain in Las Vegas, NV.
Firehawk Fitness Center
Completely renovated in 2023 thanks to amazing admin and donors that include the Las Vegas Raiders. Eldorado host one of the top fitness centers in the state. The room has rows of cardio equipment across from several rack and weight stations, touch screen displays for game planning and all Eldorado branded equipment in our favorite colors, maroon and gold.
The Rebrand
After 50 years of being the "Sundevils", the team at Arizona State University decided to terminate the agreement our school had to use the same logo and mascot, which lead to a full rebranding of the school. The process was lengthy and included input from the students, staff, alumni and the surrounding community, who have come together to rally around the FIREHAWKS as they rise form the ashes of the Sundevil!
